The Manifest of the National Supreme Council of France

In September 2014, in order to overcome the crisis that the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite in France was going through, three Grand Inspectors General, 33rd degree of the Rite, freely decided, in application of the fundamental Laws of the Order, to create a new Supreme Council and to gather around them the Scottish Masons members of the only Grand Lodge recognised as regular in our country: the Grande Loge Nationale Française. This is one of the criteria for the regularity of a Supreme Council in the eyes of the international family of Supreme Councils.

To publicly mark their attachment to the traditional principles of the Rite and the conditions of Scottish regularity, they published a Manifest outlining the values, aims and spirit of the National Supreme Council of France.
