The Grand Commanders of the SCNDF

Since the creation of the National Supreme Council of France, two Illustrious Brethren, 33° degree of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite have succeeded each other in the supreme office of the Jurisdiction.

Illustrious Brother Jacques Prats, 33°, from 2014 to 2020.

Lawyer by profession. Wanting Scottish Freemasons to be able to work regularly, he took the initiative, with two other Grand Inspectors General, to create the National Supreme Council of France. During his second term of office, he had the good fortune to see the first recognitions in friendship of European Supreme Councils.

Illustrious Brother Christian Hervé, 33°, since 2020

Professor of Medicine and academic. Co-founder of the S.C.N.D.F., he was its first Puissant Lieutenant Grand Commander, and it was very natural that he succeeded T.Ill.F. Jacques Prats, 33rd, at the end of the latter's second and statutorily last mandate. He promoted a policy of consolidation and dynamisation of the achievements of his predecessor.
