Supreme Councils in Amity

Hile there is no secret, underground "world government" of Freemasonry in general and of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite in particular, the Supreme Councils maintain friendly relations, based on history and on respect for the fundamental principles of the Rite.

The Grand Constitutions of Berlin expressly provide that there can only be one Supreme Council per State or Nation, with the exception of the United States of America, which has two.

International Conferences bring them together regularly and it is traditional for each Supreme Council to invite its peers to its annual session.

Any member of a Supreme Council in Amitywith the Supreme National Council of France is fraternally welcomed in our Workshops, as our members are in their Workshops, in accordance with the universalist spirit of the Rite.
