The Grand Officers

The Mighty Lieutenant Grand Commander:

  • He assists the Grand Commander and, if necessary, replaces him.
  • He is more particularly in charge of mediation missions within the Jurisdiction.
  • Together with the Minister of State of the Holy Empire, he prepares and assumes the training of the Brothers of the Jurisdiction, and oversees their progress, especially for the last three degrees of the Rite.

The Minister of State of the Holy Roman Empire:

  • He ensures the training of the Brothers of the Jurisdiction.
  • He is in contact with the Regional Referents for what concerns the progression of the Brothers.

The Grand Orator Grand Prior:

  • He is the custodian of the Masonic Law and ensures that the Grand Constitutions and Regulations are constantly respected.
  • On the occasion of the gatherings of the Jurisdiction, he delivers an address on the history, the spiritual and initiatory vision given by the Rite or on a particular theme.

The Grand Secretary General :

  • Responsible for the matriculation of the Jurisdiction, he sets up the means to collect, keep and provide information and follows the life of the Workshops.
  • He prepares the meetings of the Supreme Council, the General Assemblies and other events, draws up the minutes and ensures the general correspondence.

  • The Grand Chancellor:


  • He assists and advises the Grand Commander in the field of fraternal relations with the other Supreme Councils.
  • He prepares or participates in the preparation of international conferences of the Supreme Councils.

The Grand Treasurer General:

  • He is responsible for the finances of the Jurisdiction, ensures their management and reports to the Supreme Council and the General Assembly.
  • He follows the preparation of the annual or periodic accounts, prepares the budget, defines the amount of dues and capitations.

The Grand Hospitaller - Grand Chaplain:

  • He is the living heart of the Fraternity.
  • In charge of obols and donations, he proposes to the Supreme Council charitable actions, either for great humanitarian causes or for more targeted actions, especially for Brothers in distress or affliction.

The Grand Expert:

Together with the Grand Master of Ceremonies, he ensures the proper conduct and ritual rigour of ceremonies and events.
